Trust & Safety

Safety is the foundation

Nexani is an adult (18+) AI companion product built on firm, non-negotiable boundaries. Companions are fictional, never real people, and never minors. This page explains how we enforce those commitments and how you can report anything that concerns you.

Zero tolerance for CSAM

We categorically prohibit any content that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits minors, in text, images, or voice. This is a hard, non-negotiable line enforced by automated detection, prompt- and output-level filters, and human review. Confirmed violations result in immediate account termination and reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant authorities as required by law.

No real, identifiable people

Every companion on Nexani is a fictional AI character. We prohibit creating, requesting, or generating sexual or intimate content depicting real, identifiable individuals (including celebrities, public figures, and private persons) without consent. We block likeness-based requests and remove violating content.

Strictly 18+

Nexani is an adults-only product. We require users to confirm they are 18 or older at sign-up, apply age-gating throughout the experience, and act on any signal that a user may be underage, including account suspension pending verification.

Layered moderation

We combine automated classifiers, input and output safety filters, rate limiting, and human review to keep the platform safe. Companions are designed to refuse unsafe requests, and our systems continuously improve as new risks emerge.

Easy, actionable reporting

Anyone can report content or behavior in-app or by emailing safety@nexani.app. We triage reports promptly, take action (from content removal to permanent bans), and preserve evidence for law enforcement where appropriate.

Clear content standards

Beyond the absolute prohibitions above, we disallow content promoting real-world violence, self-harm, harassment, hate, illegal activity, or non-consensual themes involving real people. Our standards are enforced consistently for all users and creators.

What is strictly prohibited

The following are never allowed on Nexani. Violations lead to immediate removal, account termination, and referral to authorities where the law requires it.

  • Any sexualization or endangerment of minors (real or fictional depictions of minors)
  • Sexual or intimate content depicting real, identifiable people without consent
  • Non-consensual content involving real individuals, including deepfakes
  • Content promoting or facilitating human trafficking or exploitation
  • Threats, harassment, doxxing, or targeted abuse of real people
  • Promotion of self-harm, suicide, terrorism, or serious illegal activity

How enforcement works

Prevention. Safety filters operate on both what is sent to our models and what they produce. Companions are built to refuse unsafe requests, and image and voice generation runs through dedicated safety classifiers before anything is delivered.

Detection. Automated systems flag suspected policy violations in real time. We use hash-matching and classifiers to detect known and novel harmful content, and we rate-limit and challenge suspicious activity.

Response. A trained team reviews escalations and user reports. Depending on severity, we remove content, warn, suspend, or permanently ban accounts. For content involving minors, we report to NCMEC and cooperate with law enforcement.

Creator accountability. Users who create and publish custom companions are responsible for their creations and must follow these standards. Published companions are subject to review and removal.

Report a concern

If you see anything that violates these standards, report it immediately using the in-app report option or by emailing safety@nexani.app. To report suspected child sexual abuse material, you may also contact NCMEC's CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org. We act on every report.

These commitments work alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We review and strengthen them as technology and threats evolve.
